“A Right Blether” will consult with children and young people to ensure that the Scottish Government fulfils its obligations to Scotland’s children and young people under the United Nations Convention on the Right of the Child (UNCRC).
Resources are being developed to support teachers, youth workers and others in encouraging children and young people to take part. The resources include workshop sessions designed to raise awareness of children rights, the UNCRC, and the role of the Commissioner. Exploration of the UNCRC will help children and young people develop the four capacities of the Curriculum for Excellence.
“A Right Blether” with Scotland’s children and young people will lead up to their national vote in November where they will let the Commissioner know what is most important to them.
