The Scottish Community Development Centre is currently conducting a literature review, on behalf of Scottish Natural Heritage, of the evidence relating to the positive social impact of active participation in the natural environment.

They are calling for any "grey" (unpublished) evaluations/research that may be relevant and are particularly interested in evidence of impact at the level of communities (e.g. enhanced social capital). Contact them by e-mail.
